Addressing Climate Change

At AXA Partners, we care deeply about the effects of climate change on the environment and on society. As part of our engagements, we are committed to decreasing our CO2 emissions with targets covering energy, business travel, water, paper, waste and our digital footprint.

In addition to reducing emissions within our own operations, we have launched in 2024 a comprehensive carbon footprint assessment of our global value chain, with a focus on evaluating the emissions of our network of providers. We are actively developing and implementing collective action plans to reduce these emissions while ensuring compliance with the new EU regulation on sustainability (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) through the disclosure of relevant information.

Optimizing our operations is key to reducing emissions. For example, by increasing the density of our partner provider network and enhancing on-the-spot repair effectiveness for Motor Assistance, we aim to minimize travel distances and improve the performance of our providers' fleets. These efforts not only benefit our providers but also ultimately contribute to a positive impact for our end customers.

Integrating sustainability into our core business

We are dedicated to integrating sustainability into our core business by developing offerings that facilitate our customers' transition to green energy and sustainable mobility. Our goal is to address evolving needs with innovative sustainable products. For instance, in response to the growing interest in electric vehicles (EVs), we provide specific assistance services for EV owners, along with associated home charging solutions. Additionally, we actively promote alternative and greener mobility options to our customers, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions, particularly when their vehicles are undergoing repairs.

Social inequalities and inclusion

Whether it is promoting gender equality in managerial roles or improving the inclusion of workers with disabilities, we consider the fight against social inequalities as part of our role as a socially responsible company. This means making a special commitment to recruitment and ensuring the accessibility of our spaces (both physical and virtual). We also want to make our solutions as accessible and inclusive as possible, finding new ways to reach people who usually do not have access to traditional insurance and responding to the specific needs of our clients: disabilities, women entrepreneurs, young people, etc. Protecting people and improving their expectations is at the heart of everything we do.

Giving back to the community

It is not enough to offer products and services to the excluded. We also firmly believe in supporting the community in a broader sense. Our employees enthusiastically participate in corporate philanthropic initiatives and volunteering, passionately donating their time and skills to important social projects with AXA Hearts in Action. Their collaboration includes initiatives for the local community ranging from raising awareness of diversity and inclusion to encouraging employees towards zero waste. Through these initiatives, we want to promote solidarity by helping individuals, businesses, and societies to grow and thrive.

AXA Hearts in Action

Our employees can support their local communities through AXA Hearts in Action, a global volunteering program acting mainly in the areas of exclusion, risk prevention, and environmental protection.  
Moreover, each year, the “AXA Week for Good” intends on providing all stakeholders with the opportunity to grow their knowledge of CSR, and to discover the many ways they can participate as volunteers. During this week, our employees give time and/or resources to help local charities and good causes. This special event honors the continuous volunteers' commitment.
